My children think that I am the best Mum in the world at the moment! I won some vouchers in a competition to spend on toys and I have let them choose any toy that they want from our local toy shop. They have had great fun choosing what they want. We have actually been to the shop on several occasions as I wanted them to make sure that what they had chosen was really what they wanted. They have seen a lot of advertisements on the television for various toys and games and have used these to make up their mind. The thing is that when they actually look at the item, they sometimes change their mind as it may not be quite as good as it is portrayed in the advertisement. I also really wanted them to get toys which were good quality and something which I think they would not grow out of very quickly. It has ended up that I have had quite a big influence on their choice of toys but they are very happy with the rc helicopters, Traxxas Revo 3.3 and Pine Wood Derby Cars which we have selected together and by the rate they are playing with them, they will be using them for a long time.
