How To Design an Unforgettable Business Card —
If you have been in the career finding situation for a while, it can be difficult to network when you don’t have a business card to work with. Usually, serious people will ask for your card so they can take your information in a few seconds instead of writing it down clumsily. A business card is one of the most important tools for advertising yourself. If you don’t have one, designing one for yourself can be a little tricky. It may seem like it is a simple process, but you need to think about what will make people look twice at it. I’ve seen a business card that was a dollar cut into a third with the person’s name and number on it. It really made me think about what this person stood for.
But the point is, it gave me a reason to think about this person. Making a business card isn’t like folder printing. You need to be able to express yourself in a few inches. Make it different colors and make it neat and precise. You want it to stand out compared to the other ones, but it can’t be cluttered and say things that have nothing to do with your information. Do not put a quote on there.
