Nokia E-series —
Nokia has already announced a new handset in their business E-Series range. The E75 has hardly begun shipping and the latest, E52, has been announced. Sticking to the old school schematics of a candy bar form, the E52 is a ‘voice optimized’ handset. Nokia has designed the handset to offer users a longer battery life on a single charge. According to the company the E52 will be capable of dishing out up to 8 hours of talk time. It’s quite a sleek handset as well at just 9.9mm.
Other features will include -
- 2.4-inch TFT LCD with an accelerometer for auto screen rotation
- The new Email UI form the E75
- EDGE/GPRS, 3G with HSDPA support
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP
- GPS with a digital compass
- 3.2 megapixel camera
- 3.5mm handsfree socket
- MicroSD card support
The Nokia E52 is expected to start sales in the second half of 2009 at an estimated retail price, before taxes or subsidies, of Rs. 16,160 (EUR 245). Take a look at the Hands-on video.
